Photograph of Schooner going under the bridge
The goal was to take photos of the classic yatch racing off Newport. So how can I get the best dramtic photos of the sailing yatchs. To do this I decided to rent a helicopter to achive my goal.
This is the first tume fly in a helicopter. The pilet goes over all the safty rules. Than he asked me do you want the doors off, as I look at of the helicopter the size of a VW bug! We strapped in and take off over Newport to photography the race of classic sailing yatchs.
I almost peed my pant the first time as the helicpter banked to the left. I thought to myself I am going to die. My camera will be scked out of my hands!
This was so worth it and I will never forget it. I got some amazing photos. I look forward to doing this again.
